Story Times Special Events


TumbleBookLibrary  An online collection of animated, talking picture books,  puzzles, games, streaming audio books and more which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love.


STORY TIMES

Family Story Time
A drop-in story time for the whole family, featuring 45 minutes of stories, fingerplays, songs, a craft, and a movie.
No registration needed.
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:15 PM
April 23, 30; May 7, 14

Registration Story Times
Registration will be accepted starting April 14, 2008.
Register by stopping in the Children's Department or by calling the Library at 433-5935 Ext. 4.

"Baby Bookworms"
For children ages 6-22 months accompanied by an adult.
Story time will feature 15 minutes of fingerplays, rhymes, and songs followed by 30 minutes of social time and play with other participants.
Mondays, 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
April 21, 28; May 5, 12
"Movers & Shakers"
For children ages 23 months - 3 years accompanied by an adult.
Story time will feature 30 minutes of stories, fingerplays, rhymes, movement songs, and a craft followed by 30 minutes of social time and play with other participants.
Tuesdays, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
April 22, 29; May 6, 13
"Little Critters"
For younger children ages 3-4 who might need to be accompanied by an adult.
Story time will feature 45 minutes of stories, fingerplays, movement songs, a craft, and a movie.
Thursdays, 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM
April 24; May 1, 8, 15
"Preschool Party"
For older children ages 4-5 ready to sit and listen.
Story time will feature 45 minutes of stories, fingerplays, songs, a craft, and a movie.
Wednesdays, 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM
