New Microfilm Scanners

The Lockport Public Library is pleased to announce the purchase of two new microform scanners for public use. The machines allow you to read microfilm or microfiche on the screen and to scan it to the connected computer. Once scanned to the computer, text and images from the film or fiche can be printed to paper, saved to disk (floppy, CD, or USB flash drive), or sent as an attachment to an email message. Stop by Floor 3 with your library card and the reference librarians will be happy to help you get logged in!
